About
Most of my work starts the same way: a process that already exists, that people already hate, that has to keep working while we change it.
Legacy expense approvals. Branch-only bank services. Trading interfaces built for experts and sold to beginners. That shapes how I design — I spend the front half of a project mapping what people actually do, including the workarounds, before proposing anything.
The interesting constraint is rarely "what's the ideal flow." It's "what will people accept, given they were doing it another way last Tuesday."
I've built design systems from zero at Blenheim Chalcot, led design for a regulated crypto exchange at LCX, and rebuilt customer service journeys inside Axis Bank's compliance constraints. Before design, I shipped production front-end code — which is why I can spec a handoff an engineer doesn't have to renegotiate.
These days I build as well as design. RoleGrowth and PostKeel are live products I took from idea to production myself, working in Cursor and Claude Code. That loop has changed how I design — I prototype in real code, find the edge cases earlier, and hand engineers specs that already account for what's actually buildable.
Based in Mumbai. Open to lead and senior product design roles, and to select contract work.
